And let’s not forget, the extended wear contact lenses which can be worn continuously for up to six nights and seven days.
We wish to highlight that it is important for you to consult an optometrist/eye care professional for contact lens fitting. In Singapore, the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) under the Ministry of Health requires all contact lenses (powered or non-powered) to be prescribed and dispensed by registered optometrists or contact lens practitioners. Contact lenses with refractive power, which are classified as medical devices, must be registered with HSA.
